Selected as Oxford’s 2024 word of the year, it describes a, non-clinical, state of reduced attention span, anxiety, and intellectual stagnation. It is primarily associated with Gen Z and Gen Alpha due to compulsive scrolling on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
