Generic

Generic refers to content or products that are unbranded, non-specific, and appeal to a wide audience. In digital marketing, this often means non-branded keywords (e.g., “running shoes” vs. “Nike Air Max”). While targeting generic terms can increase traffic, it’s often less effective for conversions as the user’s intent isn’t as specific. In the world of AI, it refers to content that lacks a specific tone or style.
