Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. Introduction and who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit our website at christophemoons.com. The website is operated by Moons Media Internet Consultancy – FZCO (hereinafter “we”, “us” or “our”) through its division Coaching With Christophe. We are deeply committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy.

Moons Media Internet Consultancy – FZCO is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data. Our official registered office is located at: Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Digital Park, Building A1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Although we are established outside the European Economic Area (EEA), in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the processing of personal data belonging to Belgian and European users is carried out in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/AVG), applicable Belgian legislation and other relevant international regulations. As a company established in the UAE, we also process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

This policy covers visitors to this website and people who contact us through it. Personal data we handle in the course of a coaching engagement is covered by a separate client privacy notice. This policy does not apply to third-party websites that we link to, such as Calendly or social media platforms, which have their own privacy policies.

2. Which data we collect

We may collect and process the following categories of personal data when you use our website:

  • Identification and contact data: your name, email address and any information you provide voluntarily when you fill out our contact or enquiry form.
  • Download data: if a download or lead magnet asks for your details, such as your name and email address, we collect what you enter in order to deliver it to you.
  • Booking data: our website contains a button that takes you to Calendly, where discovery calls are booked. The booking itself takes place on Calendly’s website, which collects your data under its own privacy policy. We receive the booking details you submit, such as your name, email address and chosen time, so that we can hold the call.
  • Usage data: your IP address, browser type, operating system, visited pages and timestamps of your visit, collected through our hosting server and our security and analytical tools. We use this data in aggregated form wherever possible and do not use it to identify you personally. This includes a small Cloudflare script, used by our hosting provider, which measures visits and page loading speed without setting any cookies.
  • Cookie and tracking data: identifiers and similar information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies, such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. If you consent to marketing cookies and fill in a form on our website, the Meta Pixel may also send Meta a hashed, unreadable version of details such as your email address, so that Meta can match your visit to an account. Non-essential technologies are only used with your consent. See section 4.
  • Embedded content data: our website may display embedded posts from social media platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, X and YouTube. When you load such content, the platform may receive technical data such as your IP address and may place its own cookies.
  • Testimonials: we publish testimonials from clients on our website. These may include a name and a short quote, and are only published with the permission of the person concerned. If you would like a testimonial amended or removed, please contact us.

3. Purposes and legal bases for processing

  • Responding to enquiries and arranging discovery calls: to reply to your messages, hold the calls you book and, where relevant, prepare a proposal for you. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
  • Delivering downloads: to send you the resource you requested. Legal basis: legitimate interest, and consent where you agree to receive further communications from us.
  • Website security: to detect and prevent malicious traffic, bot attacks and spam, using security partners such as Cloudflare. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
  • Analysis and improvement: to monitor website traffic and optimise the user experience and content of our website. Legal basis: legitimate interest, and consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary.
  • Marketing measurement: to understand how our campaigns perform, using tools such as the Meta Pixel. Legal basis: consent.
  • Embedded social media content: to display posts from third-party platforms on our website. Legal basis: consent.
  • Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws, regulations and requests from competent authorities. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Where the UAE Personal Data Protection Law applies, we rely on your consent or on another lawful ground that this law permits. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as explained in section 8.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to recognise you when you visit our website. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the website cannot function securely without them. All other cookies are only placed after you have given your consent through the cookie banner. We use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: security and bot protection, provided by Cloudflare.
  • Performance and analytics cookies: to understand how the website is used, provided by Google Analytics.
  • Marketing cookies: to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns, provided by Meta (Meta Pixel) and similar tools.
  • Embedded content cookies: set by platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, X and YouTube when you load their embedded posts.

The full list of cookies, including their providers, purposes and durations, is set out in our Cookie Policy.

You can accept or reject cookies in the cookie banner that appears when you enter our website. You can also change your mind at any time by using the cookie settings button on the website. Where cookies collect personal data, or data that becomes personal data when combined with other information, this Privacy Policy applies in addition to the Cookie Policy.

5. Third-party services and recipients

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the website and our services, and only to the extent needed for the purposes in section 3. Depending on the service, these providers act on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

  • Elementor: website platform and hosting, the accessibility widget, and management of the cookie banner, including a record of the cookie choices you make. The accessibility widget loads from Elementor’s servers, so your IP address is shared with Elementor when you open a page.
  • Cloudflare: website security, bot protection and performance.
  • Google (Google Analytics): analysis of website traffic.
  • Meta (Meta Pixel): measurement of campaign performance.
  • Calendly: scheduling of discovery calls, when you choose to book through the link on our website.
  • Social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, X, YouTube): display of embedded posts.
  • Email and communication providers: receiving and answering your messages.
  • Professional advisers and public authorities: where we are legally required to share data, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. Data retention periods

We store your data no longer than strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Contact and enquiry data, including download and booking details: up to 5 years after our last operational contact, or earlier upon your request for deletion.
  • Usage and analytics data: a maximum of 2 years after collection, matching the expiry periods of our cookies.
  • Records of your cookie choices: for the period set by Elementor’s own retention policy.

We may keep data for longer where the law requires it, or where we need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

7. International data transfers

Because we are based in the UAE, your data may be transferred to and stored outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Some of our service providers, such as Google, Meta, Cloudflare and Calendly, may also process data in other countries, including the United States. We secure these transfers with appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other transfer mechanisms recognised under applicable data protection law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, European users retain all standard privacy rights:

  • the right to access your personal data
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten)
  • the right to restrict or object to processing
  • the right to data portability
  • the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it

You also hold the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit) or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you have comparable rights, including the right to request information about, access to, correction of and deletion of your personal data, the right to object to or restrict processing and the right to withdraw your consent. You may lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 10. We aim to respond within one month.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our website, our services or the law. The latest version is always published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last updated.
